Which name is better Patsy or Patricia?

I have a good friend patricia. She goes by patty even though I didn't like it as much as patricia and I told her. I got to know her better and the name doesn't bother me as much. It really doesn't matter, if you feel like you're getting older and patsy is sort of a kid name then tell people your name is patricia or whatever you want. Some people go by pat, or trisha or trish too. It's whatever you want to call yourself
