Can my employer (NJ state) use my FMLA leave while combined with temporary disability on maternity leave?

My employer is stating that my FMLA has been in use while I've been out on temporary disability through the state for maternity leave. I was approved for Medical temp. disability leave which states it is Non-FMLA. I never filled out or consented to them using my family leave also.
